It has been utterly ages. Sorry. I’ve been busying away printing Christmas cards forever, it seems.
But now, it’s January. I’m feeling fat and unfit, and it’s time to do something about it.
Yup, it’s time for getting fit. I’ll probably be getting back into a bit of the boss man Shaun T’s Insanity workout, and I’m just sampling Kayla Itsines’ bikini body workout courtesy of Lucia (my glutes are not happy today…not happy at all).
I should also get right back into the 5:2 diet again (MEGA WORKS PEOPLE) but at the mo I’m just eating healthily. This week I’ll just shock the bod with occasional fitness.
I know from experience (I got right down to ideal weight for the wedding in September) that it’s so hard to get into a fitness regime, but much easier when you’re actually in it. So why do I fall off the wagon, when I know it’ll be so much harder to get back on than just stay there and enjoy the ride?
Well, mostly because my mum cooks like a French chef (we may not have any lettuce in the house but I guarantee we have 3 types of cream) and she’s massively generous. Also, because I go home for Christmas and turn into a lazy toad, as she mums about doing everything for me.
I’ll be posting some healthy recipes and stuff to show how I go about getting back on track, but for now, here’s a smug cat.
